Terms & Conditions
The campaign runs from 1 July 2026 to 31 July 2026. Entries close at 11:59pm NZST on 31 July 2026. By participating in the Wai July 2026, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. This campaign encourages a waipiro-free July, promoting supportive environments.
Eligibility
To be eligible for entry:
- Participants must register for Wai July and intend to participate in a waipiro-free July.
- Open internationally, however, to be eligible for merch and giveaways you must be living in Aotearoa.
- Employees of Hāpai Te Hauora are not eligible to win any major prizes in this campaign.
How to Enter
- Participants must sign up via the online registration form.
- One entry per person.
- Wai July teams must have no more than 10 participants.
Prizes
Each week during Wai July 2026, teams of 10 will have the opportunity to win a work-shout valued up to a maximum of $5,000 including GST. Winners will be selected at random from eligible entries received during the applicable prize draw period. If a winner cannot be contacted within 7 days of notification, Hāpai Te Hauora reserves the right to redraw the prize.
Work-shouts are designed to support and acknowledge participants' commitment to a waipiro-free July.
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Privacy and Use of Information
By entering, participants consent to their personal details being used for the following purposes:
- Verifying eligibility.
- Selecting and notifying winners.
- Announcing winners on Hāpai Te Hauora official social media platforms (this may include your first name and the reason you provided for participating).
- To contact participants in relation to the campaign.
All personal information collected will be handled strictly in accordance with New Zealand's privacy laws.
Personal information will only be used for the intended purposes of the Wai July 2026 Campaign.
All personal information collected for this campaign will be securely deleted on or before 30 September 2026.

General Terms
- By entering, all participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
- Hāpai Te Hauora reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the campaign at any time.
- The decisions of Hāpai Te Hauora in all matters relating to the campaign, including but not limited to eligibility, prizes, and disputes are final.
- Hāpai Te Hauora accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury, or disappointment suffered as a result of participating in the campaign or accepting a prize.
